Do I need to be home during the sweep?
Yes — someone needs to be at the property so we can access the fireplace. The visit takes 45 minutes to 1 hour. You don’t have to hover; most customers just do their own thing while we work.
How much does it cost if I need more than just a sweep?
A standard sweep + Level 1 inspection is $199-$220. If the inspection finds anything that needs repair (cracked crown, damaged cap, deteriorated flue), we quote it right there with a firm price before doing any additional work. No surprise charges. You decide what to fix and when.
Will you make a mess in my house?
No. We use HEPA-filtered vacuums, drop cloths, and containment around the fireplace. Most customers say we leave the space cleaner than we found it. That’s not just marketing — it’s on every review we get.
My chimney hasn’t been swept in 10+ years. Is that a problem?
